Level Ground – April 27, 2026
Rocky ground makes the journey harder, even small pebbles can make your feet slip and slide. What a difference a smooth, well-designed path makes, especially when traveling into unknown areas. Level ground allows you to walk more confidently, and focus on the people and setting around you. Fear and pride can lead us to straying from God’s path instead of humbly and confidently following where He leads. Where are you seeking God’s will so that He can lead you on level ground?
Teach me to do your will, for you are my God; may your good Spirit lead me on level ground. – Psalm 143:10
Prayer: God, I am grateful that You make a way even in the midst of challenges. Lead me today on level ground, I pray. Teach me to do Your will and follow Your way. Where there are rocks, give me eyes to see Your footsteps and the path You have prepared. Let me glorify You as I humbly and confidently follow You. I pray in Jesus’ name, Amen.
