Wisdom is readily available to those who seek God. His Spirit of truth teaches us; Scripture instructs us and accomplishes God’s purposes. God’s Word has been the source of wisdom for men and women through the ages. The book of Proverbs contains universal, timeless wisdom from one of the wisest leaders who ever lived. How familiar are you with Scripture? Whose wisdom shapes your leadership?
These are the proverbs of Solomon, David’s son, king of Israel. Their purpose is to teach people wisdom and discipline, to help them understand the insights of the wise. Their purpose is to teach people to live disciplined and successful lives, to help them do what is right, just, and fair. These proverbs will give insight to the simple, knowledge and discernment to the young. – Proverbs 1:1-4 NLT
Prayer: God of truth and wisdom, teach me wisdom and discipline. Let Your wisdom shape my thoughts, words, and actions. I pray in the name of Jesus whose life constantly revealed Your wisdom, Amen.
