A Season for Ministry – December 3, 2025
Holiday calendars get filled with events, while To Do lists grow longer. We face end-of-year deadlines as church and ministry events multiply, along with family and social gatherings. All around us are people waiting to hear a message of hope, needing God’s help. Are you aware of their presence and their need? Are you available to share with them? Is there time in your schedule and among your traditions for ministering to others?
When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.” – Matthew 9:37-38
Prayer: Lord of the harvest, let me see the opportunities for witness and ministry that You are placing in front of me this holiday season. May my life, my words, and my actions reveal Jesus’ compassionate, life-giving grace. In His name I pray, Amen.
