Behavior – January 2, 2026
What are you known for? Jesus was known for many things, compassion for the outcast, confidence in God, forthright teaching, and miracles. All of this was motivated by His wholehearted love for God and love for others. His values became visible in His actions and interactions. What does your behavior reveal about your values? What changes do you need to make to align your values (and behavior) with what God values?
You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh; rather, serve one another humbly in love. For the entire law is fulfilled in keeping this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.” – Galatians 5:13-14
Prayer: God, I surrender myself to You. Change my heart, change my values, and show me what changes I need to make to align my behavior with what you value. Let love of You and love for others be the hallmark of my life. I pray in Jesus’ name, Amen.
